I just downloaded 0.9.9 and 0.9.10 and neither of them work.

I have the correct BIOS, a good file that was cue and bin converted through Binchunker successfully to .iso and with all the parameters put in, through Cobras MAC OSX tutorial and a painful number of emails back and forth, nothing - i repeat - NOTHING has worked.

The furthest I got in days of trying was a white screen that constantly crashed.

With the BIOS and the .iso installed, the screen miraculously didn't crash but just stayed white and motionless. Any attempt to change any of the settings and the program instantly crashed.

Upon trashing yet another copy of Yabause and DL'ing a new one, I found something very strange - this old .bin file has lodged itself in the BIOS field of the MAC OSX version EVERY time I start it up

/Users/myname/Desktop/Shining Force III - Scenario 1.BIN

I deleted this file days ago.

Also the CDrom field is automatically set to ISO/CUE for some reason - not Dummy CD

There must be a reason for this but I am completely exhausted trying to figure out why.

Cna someone who created this program, please, for the love of God, give me some idea of why it is doing this.

If other people with mac osx 10.5 can make this work there should be no reason why I cannot.

Thanks.

I found this config log...

This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

It was created by yabause configure 0.9.9, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.61. Invocation command line was

I had this same problem just a few moments ago. I was using toast to mount the disc images, and I found it was still set for a bin file that yabause kept opening even after I set a different file in the preferences. Well I unmounted the bin file, quit out of toast, reopened it, and mounted the ISO file I wanted. Then I made sure the ISO was in the yabause preferences again (instead of switching to bin automatically like it was doing. Anyways doing all that worked for me!

I was having the same problems when I first started using Yabause and one thing that I've found out is that the changes you make in the Yabause Preferences don't apply until you close the preferences window that pops up. So......if you're trying to open a game and you're entering the information in the preferences tab and then simply going into the emulation drop down and clicking run it won't work because nothing has actually been changed until you close the preference tab.

Hopefully that might clear up some confusion.
