Some clarification
June 29, 2008 • CyberWarriorX • Release, Site
So we’ve been working on and off on a wii port. It’s really in an alpha state which is why it isn’t included in the main builds. That hasn’t stopped people from making their own builds, and honestly that isn’t an issue. But what is becoming an issue is that somehow people seem to be confused as to who wrote what and who to complain to when they obviously have problems.
So first of all, unless someone new out there has done some massive changes to the wii specific code, it’s still all work done by the Yabause team. Or more specifically, Romulo and myself(when in doubt, check the copyright lines at the top of the file). I’m looking at you wiibrew, QuickJump, and too many other sites to mention.
Now as for support, there is none. Unless the people who are releasing these unofficial builds want to do it.

I want to apologize for the inconvienience caused , that some sites write that i ported it to the wii.
And also that i did not mention the full names of the people (instead i only wrote yabause team)
I thought i stated clearly that it is not a official supported build and that all credits regarding this awesome emulator goes to you guys .In fact i only changed one file to direcly load the iso instead of the cue
My sincere apologies for that

Markus1981: I know that wasn’t your intention, I was just wanted to make things clear to visitors of the site since we already had to go out of our way contacting websites after people starting making posts that lukeusher123 had made the wii port, and it was starting to go that same direction again. Plus I’m starting to see more posts on the forums relating the wii port bugs, which I’ve already stated we aren’t handling yet.

Just wanted to mention too if you have any improvements or changes, you can also submit a patch to either Guill or myself and we can apply it to cvs and then include you in the authors list.

Yeah guys, please contribute directly to us, would benefit all and concentrate code on a single release.

If you would like others to submit improvements to the Wii port of this project why not edit the WiiBrew Wiki to your liking? The way it stands it seems the project is dead in the water.

Sorry for asking, would it be possible to make a list of the games that are playable with the emulator? Great work. I been waiting for a Sega Saturn emulator for the new consoles. Great work, kept it up.

sorry for saying. if you cant figure out how to get a saturn bios.. umm.. what the hell are you doing?
does the world expect to get things for free and not only that but have some one hold there hand the whole way?
and when people are discussing whether or not this project will continue.. its best not to ask for ‘lists’..
how about you let the developers develop..
and you and the above get together.. show him what a saturn bios looks like and where to put it (its cryptic.. but ti think the folder to place it in is called BIOS.. which is currently empty no doubt) see what roms work and what ones dont..
make a list and post it.
some of you are worse then torrent forum brats..
everyone wants answers without puting forth more than a key-stroke of effort..
keep up the work yabause..
theres a special place in hell for script-kiddies..

Hi, if someone could contact me through email or on my DA page, I’m just curious… Is there any progress being made on Yabause for Wii? I mean if there isn’t, why not let others continue with it as long as credit for it’s original creation and the last version you all worked on is given properly?
