Yabause 0.9.5
May 11, 2008 • guillaume.duhamel • Release
For those who didn’t get our april’s fools, here’s an update: we’re not disbanding after all and we’re releasing a new version
Controls code has been rewrote to enable emulation of the two peripheral ports of the Saturn. Software renderer also got a major update with window, line scroll and mosaic now emulated. Preliminary support for translations has been added too.

Please fix the emu so it can have proper support for the xbox360 controller. The L and R triggers still don’t work.
The emu also doesn’t see that I have two controllers (xbox and xbox360) hooked up which makes me think it doesn’t have direct input support like MAME, Final Burn Alpha and several other games I have use.
And sadly Sonic Jam is still unplayable due to graphics errors.

@Killer
ROFL… XBox 360 controllers requires XInput support, their PC drivers do not implement DirectInput. So this is not a problem within Yabause.

Well whatever the 360 controller uses Killer Cirno is right about the L & R triggers not working. I have to set the Saturn’s L and R button the to 360’s analog sticks in order to use them.

Is there a list of what changes were made for the Dreamcast version of the emu and what the speed is like for it?

Hey guys. Would it be too much to ask for an update to the Ubuntu packages? They’re made for Gutsy (7.10), rather than Hardy (8.04).
Thanks for the emulator, keep up the great work.

You scare the shit out of me, I really think this very best emulator will gone, luckily I saw the date at last …
And I got a question: Why OSX version don’t have 0.9.4? I really enjoy running Yabause on Mac, since OSX got less problem.
